Every puppy or kitten and their new family is treated as unique. Reliable nutrition advice, behaviour management, and wellness information are provided to each pet parent. In the clinic, we offer a relaxed environment with a compassionate Fear Free trained team, calming pheromones, high reward treats, play, and as much time as we need. The use of numbing cream prior to vaccination helps keep the pet’s experience a positive one. And if your special one is particularly sensitive, then extra steps are taken to help keep it that way. It is very important to us that all our patient visits are as happy as possible. Your furry baby will like coming back so to see us. Even the kitties.
At the first appointment, we will lay out all your new pet’s anticipated health care needs based on the lifestyle you anticipate for them. Each subsequent exam will allow us to update those needs as your pet grows and changes. We provide “split vaccine” appointments for your pet to separate vaccinations out so not too many are given on any one day. Parasite prevention needs are discussed. And when or if spaying or neutering are to be performed.
The first year of a pet’s life is costly. We understand this and it’s why we offer a puppy or kitten wellness plan to cover that first year of expected care. And we encourage pet insurance to help you cover the costs of unexpected care, even providing a free month of coverage if you want it. It is life saving!
