We here at KinVet know how nerve wracking it can be bringing home a new family member, and that is why we are prepared to help you start your new puppy or kitten’s life on the right track! We work with every new puppy and kitten on an induvial basis, ensuring that they get to familiarize themselves with our staff and have a positive experience with us. It is very important to us that all our patients visits are happy ones, we want to ensure that no animal develops a fear of the vets!
During your puppy/kitten’s wellness exams we offer a relaxed environment with a compassionate and patient staff, utilizing calming pheromones for canines and felines, high reward treats and play. When it comes time for your fluffy bundle of joy to receive their vaccination we make use of a numbing cream called Emla to avoid them feeling the poke of the needle and to prevent any associations of pain at the clinic being made.
Our staff will also take the time to guide and educate you through the process of raising your new little one. We will walk you through socialization, handling, house/litter training, feeding, and more. It is our pleasure to prepare you and your fluffy little one for these early life stages and beyond!
