Marissa came to KinVet with experience handling dogs as a doggy daycare attendant and puppy trainer in Port Elgin, and as a groomer’s assistant in the town of Durham. In 2023 she became a client of KinVet where she discovered a group of like-minded ladies whose first priority is pets’ happiness and comfort, utilizing the Fear Free initiative. Hygiene and cleanliness is at the forefront of health care, and Marissa takes pride in ensuring that our clinic is disinfected and safe for both pets and their people!

Marissa and her partner Brett have a crested gecko named Nacho, a betta fish named Reginald, and 3 dogs; Auggie the all-around hound, Charlie the Australian Shepherd cross, and Jetta the Border Collie. Marissa can be frequently found hiking with her dogs or training them in canine sports!
