In Hours
During regular office hours if you find yourself experiencing an emergency call our clinic number (519)-396-2071 immediately. Once connected, our team will asses the situation and directed you to the appropriate support. If needed, we will ensure you are promptly connected to an emergency veterinarian and provide you with guidance on next steps.
Out of Hours Weekdays
Should you have an emergency outside of regular office hours simply call our clinic phone (519)-396-2071 and you will be directed to SmartVet, our trusted online answering service, where you will receive prompt assistance. From there you will either have a virtual consultation with a licensed veterinarian or be transferred to our on-call team or one of partner clinics for further care and guidance.
Out of Hours Weekends
We are pleased to inform you that, in addition to our ongoing partnership with SmartVet, there is now a new emergency veterinary clinic available on the weekends to help with your urgent care needs. If you experience an emergency outside of regular office hours on the weekend you now have the option to contact: Bluewater Veterinary Emergency Clinic. For direct emergency care reach them at (519) 964-0949.
Alternatively, you can still reach SmartVet, our online answering service, by calling (519) 396-2071. SmartVet remains available for virtual consultations and will assist in directing you to the appropriate care, whether that’s a virtual vet consultation or transferring you to an emergency provider.
