Dr. Margarete Buckler

After 10 years of healing pets and strengthening relationships with their owners, I have decided to leave private practice to pursue my interest in national and international disease surveillance. I have been incredibly fortunate to be mentored by Dr. Norman and Dr. Hooper and have shared many memorable professional and personal experiences that I will hold dear for many years. We supported each other through the happy and not so happy cases, personal illnesses, ownership changes, and taught each other many valuable lessons. Words cannot express my gratitude for being able to work with such fine veterinarians and lovely friends.

I have also been blessed with being able to work with such a passionate support team. The veterinary technicians, receptionists, and kennel staff at Kincardine Veterinary Services are the lifeblood of the practice. They ensure things run smoothly, they do the dirty work, and they are dedicated to their patients and clients alike. A veterinarian is only as good as their support staff, and I had the best.
As of January 21st, 2019, I will be working for the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. I am excited about this new chapter in my life. Never fear though, you will still see my face around town as Kincardine will still be my home and my pets will remain regular patients at Kincardine Veterinary Services. I know my fur babies are in the best of hands. I have to admit though, it will be strange standing on the other side of the exam table.

Warmest Regards,
Dr. Margarete Buckler
